AI-assisted discovery for local service businesses
AI visibility grounded in clear facts, useful content, and sound SEO.
TCS Digital Marketing assesses how AI-assisted search systems can access, understand, and represent your business—then identifies practical work across SEO, content, local visibility, reputation, and your website.
A focused 30-minute conversation about your business, current search presence, and whether an AI Visibility Assessment is a useful next step.

Why TCS
Evidence before tactics.
Representation diagnostic
Your business may be represented before a customer visits your website.
The first review separates factual, technical, content, source, and measurement problems before recommending work.
Unknown representation
The business does not know whether AI-assisted systems mention it, cite it, omit it, or describe it accurately.
Conflicting facts
Names, locations, services, credentials, contact details, profiles, and third-party mentions disagree.
Technical access
Important pages are blocked, difficult to crawl, absent from indexes, or hard to discover through internal links.
Weak question coverage
The site misses pre-contact questions or answers them with generic summaries that contain little first-hand knowledge.
Unsupported information
Important claims lack visible evidence, named sources, accurate structured data, or legitimate corroboration.
Unreliable measurement
Referral sources are not identified, isolated prompt checks are called rankings, or speculative files, schema, and mass content are proposed without evidence.
Search foundations
AI answers use search foundations differently.
AI Visibility extends SEO; it does not replace it. Technical access, clear pages, useful content, and legitimate authority remain relevant.
Traditional search
A visitor chooses from results.
- Usually presents an ordered set of results.
- Visibility is commonly evaluated through impressions, clicks, queries, landing pages, and rankings.
- Users select a result before reading the source page.
- Search Console and analytics provide established measurement signals.
AI-assisted discovery
A system may synthesize several sources.
- May cite, link, summarize, mention, recommend, or omit a business.
- Answers can change by system, prompt wording, location, personalization, and time.
- Some systems report citations or referrals; others provide limited data.
- A customer may learn about the business before visiting its website.
Google states that its existing SEO guidance applies to AI Overviews and AI Mode. It does not require special AI files, additional technical requirements, or special schema. Read Google Search Central guidance.
The AI visibility system
Six conditions make a business easier to understand and verify.
The conditions support one another. A technically accessible page cannot correct conflicting business facts elsewhere, and corroboration cannot replace useful first-hand content.
01
Accessible
Relevant pages can be crawled, rendered, indexed, and retrieved by the systems the business chooses to allow.
02
Identifiable
The website clearly states the business name, services, locations, people, experience, and contact information.
03
Consistent
The website, profiles, directories, professional listings, and other public sources agree on important facts.
Connected evidence
Clear, verifiable business information
04
Useful
Content answers priority customer questions with specific, first-hand knowledge rather than generic summaries.
05
Supported
Claims have visible evidence, accurate structured data, named sources, and legitimate third-party corroboration.
06
Current
Services, staff, locations, credentials, hours, and other time-sensitive facts are corrected when they change.

What the client receives
Findings, limitations, priorities, and recommendations. The assessment is a documented current-state review, not a guaranteed path to citations.
OpenAI states that public websites can appear in ChatGPT search. Publishers that want eligible content discovered and cited should allow OAI-SearchBot, and identifiable ChatGPT referrals can be reviewed in analytics. Read OpenAI publisher guidance.
After the assessment
The findings determine where the work belongs.
The assessment records the conditions limiting visibility, then assigns each finding to the discipline best suited to address it. Ongoing scope is proposed only where the evidence supports the work.
Assessment output
Documented findings
Access problems, conflicting facts, content gaps, unsupported information, and measurement limits are recorded before ongoing work is proposed.
Prioritized by evidence
SEO
Used when findings involve crawl access, indexing, site structure, internal linking, useful content, or organic authority.
Local SEO
Used when business information, Google Business Profile data, listings, reviews, locations, or service-area details are incomplete or inconsistent.
Web design
Used when page structure, visible business facts, content presentation, conversion paths, accessibility, or technical performance need attention.
Content and reputation
Used when important questions lack useful answers or business claims need expert input, review processes, legitimate mentions, or third-party support.
AI visibility monitoring
Used when the scope calls for documented sample observations, referral review, available citation reporting, factual-error tracking, or periodic reassessment.
A finding may involve more than one discipline. TCS defines the sequence and scope after the assessment, and the client approves ongoing work before it begins.
Engagement model
Assess first. Continue where the evidence points.
The assessment can stand alone. Ongoing work begins only when the findings justify it and the client approves the scope in writing.
Defined first step
Standalone AI Visibility Assessment
- Defined assessment scope
- Named systems and questions
- Current-state findings
- Measurement limitations
- Prioritized recommendations
- No required ongoing commitment
Foundation implementation
Visibility Foundation
When the assessment identifies foundation problems, TCS defines the highest-priority implementation work. No implementation begins without written approval.
Sustained work when justified
Growth Partnership
Ongoing work may include SEO, Local SEO, website improvement, expert content, reputation support, authority development, and monitoring.
- Six-month initial term
- Month-to-month service afterward
- Priority-based shared roadmap
- Concise monthly reporting
- Quarterly priority and performance review
No fixed citation, content, mention, or prompt-monitoring quantities apply unless they are included in the proposal. The full Process page is still in development.
Measurement and limits
Measure what is observable. Label what is directional.
No single report describes every AI-assisted system. TCS records the source, conditions, and limits behind each signal.
Measured
Observed
Inferred
Unavailable
Primary measures
- Qualified inquiries from identifiable AI-assisted sources
- Referral traffic when available
- Conversions from identifiable referral sessions
Supporting measures
- Citations and cited pages reported by supported tools
- Grounding-query information when available
- Brand and entity consistency
- Priority-question coverage
- Supporting organic visibility and legitimate mentions
- Factual accuracy in documented samples
Record the test conditions.
- System, prompt, date, location, and other test conditions
- When referral or citation data is unavailable
- Measured outcomes separated from observations and estimates
Do not overstate the signal.
- Sample prompts are not rankings
- Citations do not prove preference or recommendation
- Systems do not share the same sources or reporting methods
- Business results cannot all be attributed to AI Visibility
Microsoft says AI Performance in Bing Webmaster Tools can report citations, cited pages, and sampled grounding queries across supported experiences; the figures do not indicate ranking, authority, or placement. Google includes AI Overviews and AI Mode traffic within the Search Console Web search type. Read the Bing announcement and Google guidance.
Service boundaries
Emerging discovery does not justify unsupported tactics.
TCS uses evidence, visible business facts, and established service disciplines. It does not sell access, certainty, or fabricated authority.
- Guaranteed citations or recommendations
- Guaranteed inclusion in AI-generated answers
- Guaranteed prompt rankings
- Unsupported “AI schema”
- Claims that special AI files are universally required
- Automated mass content
- Fabricated authors, experts, reviews, sources, or experience
- Manipulated or inauthentic mentions
- False business or entity information
- Prompt screenshots presented as stable performance data
- Claims of access to private model signals or ranking factors
- Work that violates search-engine or platform policies
AI Visibility FAQs
Questions before choosing an assessment.
What is AI Visibility?
AI Visibility concerns how a business is accessed, understood, represented, cited, or linked within AI-assisted discovery. TCS reviews the facts and sources that systems may use, then documents what can and cannot be observed.
How is AI Visibility different from SEO?
SEO remains a foundation. AI-assisted systems may synthesize several sources and may mention a business before the customer visits its website, so the review also considers entity consistency, corroboration, sample answers, and available referral or citation data.
Which AI search and answer systems does TCS assess?
The systems depend on the business, market, available access, and approved scope. The assessment names each system and records the date, question, location, and other relevant test conditions.
Can TCS guarantee that my business will be cited or recommended?
No. TCS does not guarantee citations, recommendations, placement, or inclusion. Systems, sources, prompts, locations, personalization, and product behavior can change.
Does my website need special AI schema or an AI-specific file?
Google states that AI Overviews and AI Mode do not require a special AI file or special schema. Crawler access can be platform-specific: OpenAI advises publishers to allow OAI-SearchBot when they want eligible public content discovered for ChatGPT search, but access does not guarantee inclusion.
What is included in an AI Visibility Assessment?
The assessment reviews technical access, business and entity consistency, content and topic coverage, third-party corroboration, documented sample observations, and measurement readiness. The client receives findings, limits, priorities, and recommendations.
How does TCS measure AI visibility?
TCS starts with identifiable referrals, conversions, and supported citation data when they are available. Sample observations are labeled with their test conditions and are kept separate from measured outcomes and estimates.
How long does AI Visibility work take?
There is no fixed timeline across systems or businesses. The current site condition, number of conflicting sources, implementation scope, recrawl timing, and available reporting all affect when changes can be observed.
Can I purchase the assessment without ongoing marketing?
Yes. The assessment is available as a standalone service. Ongoing work is proposed only when the findings justify it, and implementation requires written approval.
How is AI Visibility pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the assessment scope, systems, markets, website condition, source review, and measurement requirements. The proposal defines the work before the assessment begins.
